About Us

Eye for design, expert craftsmanship,

dedicated service.

My career started in business management, ode to the thrill of exceeding company standards. After becoming a mother I decided to take a step back and focus on a career that would provide a better quality of life for my son and I. I decided to pursue a future in special education for the public school system. This is still a passion of mine, especially having a special needs son. After moving to a new county I was again faced with a difficult decision. To work for a system that wasn’t meeting my son’s needs or to advocate for his limited rights. It was then that I made the scariest decision of my life, to venture out on my own as a small business owner.

Eppita started out with art, grew to incorporate, Then blossomed into professional contracted painting. Being a small business owner has been the most terrifying and rewarding experience ever. Particularly while surviving the whole covid thing. I’ll never stop giving back to our beautiful community that supported me pursuing my dreams and rooted for me through a crazy global pandemic. Eppita will always provide you with a genuine and dedicated experience

Signed with gratitude,

Stephanie “Eppita” Walz

OUR PROCESS

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT

Estimates

You provide us with pictures and all the information about your project using our easy to complete online form for a rough estimate.

Then we schedule an in-home consultation for final estimate on one of our booking days.

Uninstallation

We carefully remove your cabinet doors, drawers and hardware. They'll be taking a trip back to our workshop to begin their makeover process.

Cleaning + Sanding

We start the refinishing process with a cleaning and sanding. During this step we will also plug and repair any imperfections in your wood. Sanding grits range from 80-120, we are careful to retain the integrity of your wood and this step is primarily to remove paint, stain, or dirt.

Priming + Painting

We prime with triple thick KILZ that is approved for use in the kitchen. Our paint is Valspar's Cabinet and Furniture paint line, and is designed with the kitchen in mind. Our paint is selected for it's long-lasting quality and appearance. Our paint is applied using a Magnum X5 Electric TrueAirless Sprayer.

Reinstallation

Reinstallation takes place once your frames, doors, and drawers are all complete, and it might just be our favorite step, because this is when it all comes together and your kitchen makeover is complete.
